The SIMPLE policy approach consists of four components in order to effectively craft, implement and manage policy:

• B+ > Basic Plus
  • Policies will provide a basic solution along with a plus option for additional solutions that may or may not be provided by government
• JSS > Just | Sound | Simple
  • Solutions will be just, sound and simple (to clarify simple, it is elegant simplicity that is striven for even for complex solutions)
• SimpleTalk > Elegant Straightforward Explanations
  • Solutions require explanations that most laypeople can understand even if the complex details are not.
• NEET DEAR > Exhaustively analyzed policy proposals, considering all possible aspects of policy choices
  • Policy proposals should be subject to exhaustive and comprehensive evaluation with a wide range of metrics.
